London’s original mac ‘n’ cheese street food vendor Anna Mae’s will be bringing the ultimate comfort food to this year’s festival. Anna Mae and co-founder Tony will be serving up their classic ‘Annie Mac’ three-cheese mac, as well as some added extras. Their dishes’ catchy names and enticing flavours are going to make this stall’s offerings hard to resist!
Banana Leaf’s cooked-to-order Malaysian street food is sure to excite all the senses. Their vibrant wok-fried noodle dishes, including prawn, chicken, and vegetarian options, are wrapped and served in a banana leaf, infusing the dish and creating an authentic experience. Rice dishes will also be available, including a classic Malaysian beef Rendang, as well as exotic drinks such as the popular Malaysian Sirap Bandung – rose infused evaporated milk served with sparking soda water.
Dulwich-based eatery Spinach will be bringing their vibrant menu to Bermondsey Street, celebrating the versatility of veg. Spinach is an informal, welcoming and lively oasis where you can eat well, relax with friends and enjoy a contemporary vegetable-centric menu,
The Pie Cart will be serving up their individual handmade gourmet pies made from locally sourced, free range ingredients. The pies are made in small batches making each one wonderfully unique, so there is a pie made just for you at this stall! Flavours include steak and cheese, roasted butternut squash, spinach and goats cheese, and Thai green chicken curry, as well as their classic scotch eggs and fruit pies.
The Bodega Box Bar was founded with the idea of bringing something fun and fresh to the events space. They have lovingly converted a horsebox to create a stylish and fun bar that adds a unique touch to any event.
In 2007 Lara began baking homemade cakes from her Vauxhall kitchen then cycling them round the corner to sell to the local cake-eating community at Oval Farmers Market. Today they are still baking in the same kitchen, attending the same market every Saturday, and some of the customers who bought from them back in the early years are now their very best customers.They are committed to selling cakes made with the best and freshest ingredients, which means they are a combination of locally-sourced, organic and Fairtrade delights.
Patch East, located in the heart of the City, is a stylish cocktail bar with outlandish and flamboyant design, bespoke cocktails and innovative kitchen plates. Patch East is a venue to relax, unwind, drink, eat, dance and rock till the early hours all in one night and in one beautifully decadent space.
Constancia is an independent, family-run Argentine grill and steak house, located in the heart of Bermondsey, London‘s former tannery and leather district. Established in 2009, they quickly gained a reputation for the excellent quality of their food, the friendly and attentive service, and the laid-back atmosphere. Their homemade Empanadas (pasties) are the most delicious you’ll find in London. They’ll be serving up freshly made steak sandwiches, sausage rolls, and a selection of Argentine beer and wine at the festival.
Swallow will be serving up their ready to drink premium cocktail. SWALLOW is a creation from Rainier and Dupuy, two visionaries with a passion for taste, design and London. SWALLOW is made from a 5 times distilled wheat English Vodka coming from an award-winning distillery. Add some of the most voluptuous, sweet and vibrant fruits from across the world and a Touch of spices. Pour it over ice in a wine glass and enjoy thoroughly.
Grill Cheese Eat Repeat is an all-artisan stall serving up sourdough cheese toasties with flavours including mac and cheese, and spicy carrot chutney. Made with all free range and organic ingredients, they offer the best in grilled cheese sandwiches.
At BTW, they believe that the diverse styles and flavours of gin were too often being stripped of their individuality when mixed with the limited choice of commercially available tonic water. Their tonic water is made to preserve and complement the distinct flavours of every gin, so why not put it to the test and sample the ultimate G&T at this year’s festival.
The Woolpack is a gem of a pub, and is your new favourite spot to enjoy one of their cool, local craft beers. They are in the heart of Bermondsey street, with a garden to boast about, which is open all year round. So, sit back and enjoy the festival with a cold one and a famous Woolpack Burger (it’s Epic).
Moroccan street food you deserve. They combine fresh, locally sourced ingredients with traditional Moroccan recipes to create contemporary dishes. Expect grilled chicken with preserved lemons, meatballs in a spicy sauce, and vibrant salads amongst other delights.
This Thai restaurant takes its name from the Malay expression meaning ‘mix and match’. Champor-Champor will be serving up vibrant Thai-Malay dishes at this year’s festival in a cosy, yet chic environment.
Pigling Street will be cooking up a host of porky pleasures. Their ethical ethos means they source their pork from award winning, high welfare suppliers, where happy pigs make for tasty dishes. Slow Roasted Pigling is their speciality, complete with crispy crackling, rosemary and garlic stuffing, bacon & onion butter and juicy pickles all in a handmade brioche bap with apple sauce or their super ketchup. Epic.
Tower Tandoori is one of London’s oldest Indian restaurants, and since 1978 has been a jewel in Bermondsey’s culinary crown. Today, the business is run by the third generation of its founding family and continues to produce delicious Indian favourites.
After over 30 years in the brewing industry, Peter Jackson decided it was time to do his own thing and set up his own micro-brewery. Peter produces traditionally brewed beer proudly crafted in SE1, so raising a glass of one of his ales is the perfect way to celebrate the local area at this year’s festival.
Tanner & Co, is school Gym inspired converted warehouse, with a bar and restaurant serving innovative cocktails and a modern twist on British cuisine. Tanner has it‘s own street side courtyard where you can come during the festival to enjoy a burger with a cold beer, or a cocktail made with the clever infusions of it’s underground booze lab!
