Chainska Brassika

ChainSka Brassika are a 9 piece ska-fuelled, energetic reggae and dub band from South East London. Their lively old-school ska sound combines with the skank of today’s bass culture and commands any audience get up and dance. 2013 saw the band release their first ever single & music video with ‘This I Know’, produced by Hylu from Unit 137, and to conclude the year their 'Unwind E.P' produced by Stacey Edwards. Upon release the 'Unwind E.P' was played 4 consecutive weeks on BBC Radio 1xtra by David Rodigan as well as receiving airplay from the likes of Amazing Radio.

ChainSka have appeared at UK festivals such as Glastonbury, Isle Of Wight, Boomtown Fair, Secret Garden Party and Bestival, and supported the likes of The Skatalities, Easy Start All Stars, Mad Professor, The Abyssinians, Dawn Penn, Jerry Dammers, Rebelution and The Trojans. As well as smashing gigs all over the UK ChainSka have also rocked crowds across Switzerland and Italy.
