Expect live music and dance from 11am to 6pm.

A Street full of Stalls

From handbags to leather aprons and peanut butter and honey.

All made or potted in Bermondsey.

The best local crafts we can find in South London

Underdog Presents

We are an eclectic arts and music bar On Crucifix Lane.
We are hosts to some of the most interesting contemporary art and events, and it is a real pleasure to share our diverse range of live music at Festival.

The Holly & Lil Dog Show

In Spring 2002, two apparently identical, fluffy, black puppies met on Primrose Hill and began to play. Holly, (the collie cross) and Lil, (the flatcoat retriever) joined forces for many long walks whilst, their owners, discussed life and other stuff - such as why you could never buy really wonderful dog collars?

The rest, as they say, is history, although every year they return to Festival with their Dog Show, this year with the support of Dulux.

BRIDIE THE TEA LADY FROM DOWNTON TO DOWNTOWN

Bridie is 8ft tall and dances with her cake laden 7ft tea trolley to the tunes of Dean Martin & Tom Jones and when you lest expect it a bit of pop & rock thrown in. She’s very funny, is popular with people of all ages and never fails to go down a storm.
Find her all along the street on the day

Royalty, Scandal, Intrigue!

Meet Elizabeth the First, our noble monarch handsome & towering in her striking regalia, accompanied by the somewhat overshadowed & henpecked Sir Walter Raleigh.

is contrasting comic duo is more Blackadder than RSC, as Elizabeth reigns, Sir Walter, well - he rediscovers the potato.

Dig It swoops on the Bermondsey Street Festival

The Dig It Sound System is a big bad portable bike pulled sound and you’ll find them rocking the Bermondsey Yard Cafe at the northern end of the street until late.

Brass is Leathermarket bound !

As a brass and wind musician and teacher Ann-Marie Atkins wanted to put together a group with all of these instruments in mind. And so the band was formed: a group of players and friends passionate about playing live music with or without the need of amplification. They play we soul, funk, jazz, reggae, afrobeat, calypso and everything else in between!
You can catch them in Leathermarket Gardens
